I sometimes feel my heart will burst
from wanting you so much,
I cant explain in words of how
i long to feel your touch.

There is no way i can convey,
this emptiness inside
that seems to tear my soul to shreds
as time goes swiftly by.

If i could merely hold you near,
for just a little while
if i could simply talk with you
or only see you smile.

To have you look into my eyes
and want to hear you say
something that would help
take all the pain away.

If i have to wait forever,
i guess thats what i'll do,
for me it will be worth it,
to finally be with you.

Friendship Over The Rainbow

If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you,
And share with you its beauty
On the days you're feeling blue

If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own,
A place to find serenity,
A place to be alone

If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea,
But all these things I'm finding
Are impossible for me

I cannot build a mountain,
Or catch a rainbow fair,
But let me be what I know best,
A friend who's always there.
